Our Partnerships
We've partnered with The Garden Enthusiast on Main Street Tucker to maintain and improve the children's demonstration garden and aquaponics system and also utilize the classroom to teach and inform the community of local food.
We've partnered with Tucker Orchard Guild to maintain an adopted orchard at Henderson Park consisting of plum, nectarine, and paw paw trees.
We're proud to be a supplier for Peach Dish, a business who aims to enrich and nourish people's lives through good food experiences.
Forthap Farms
Grow with the Flow’s mission is to convert yards into market gardens for our community in Tucker, Georgia. In exchange for the lawn space provided by our neighbors, we provide a weekly share of the harvest. Through our efforts, we repurpose unused space into mini-farms, and in some instances, have revitalized yards that were formerly family farms and converted them back into productive market gardens.
Given the continued decrease in the number of farmers, another goal of Grow with the Flow is to educate and produce more growers to join this urban farming model. By consolidating efforts in suburban neighborhoods, we are creating an idea of the modern lawn and making farming a more accessible occupation.
Our latest venture includes a partnership with Forthtap Farms, LLC out of Powder Springs, GA to revitalize a family farm that is located one mile from downtown Powder Springs. This farm has been owned by the Tapp Family since 1920 and has been leased by Griffin Farms since the 1960s. The land is currently under an agricultural conservation easement which protects the land from any development and keeps the land for agricultural use.
Through this partnership, we hope to use this site for the continued education of our mission and to encourage more individuals to consider becoming part of the urban farming movement.
